The President's statement following his first full day in office

Today marked the first day of the TroublingPolitics Administration, and the President has already started his term off strong, meeting with senior officials at the White House and working with new agency leaders to improve and revitalize agencies that were previously neglected and mismanaged.

The president made the following statement on the South Lawn prior to boarding Marine One.

"Today marks my first full day in office as the President of the United States. In an effort to promote and maintain transparency, I'd like to share with you some of the things that have been subject to change. Key nominations and appointments have been made in areas of foreign policy and defense with more expected this upcoming week. Today I had the opportunity to meet with officials from all across the administration, military, and legislature. In my meeting today with CMC @iSpart_665 and VCJCS @GADM. "Vurawn" Irons, I was able to discuss the current operational state of our armed forces, in which we are at a good standing. I offered my utmost support and assistance to the military, and I plan on growing our armed forces substantially to better ensure the protection of American interests and security. In a discussion today with @Speaker Ireallyyeet and @Sen. Matthew O’Toole (R-SC), I detailed the administration's plans moving forward in terms of executive departments and staff, as well as the legislative agenda of my Presidency. Much more change will be occurring within the coming days, so stay tuned! I'm looking forward to working with everyone to ensure the continued prosperity of our great nation. It is an honor to serve as your President. "
